Shields and Safe Spaces with Becky

Join us August 27th from 5 pm to 7 pm for a new monthly series, Shields and Safe Spaces; Warding Your Inner Sanctuary. Cost for this class will be $20. This month we will be creating charms for your most sacred inner spaces, the places we sleep. Ensuring a good night’s rest is one of the key components to our health. If we do not get enough sleep or the right kind of sleep it increases cortisol production (the stress hormone) and can begin a cycle that affects all areas of our lives. But what happens when we don’t feel safe to sleep? We’ll look at all kinds of reasons for this and create personalized jars to help make your sleep space safer. Please bring a small glass jar with a wide enough mouth to fit stones and herbs. Please also bring 1-4 stones/crystals of your choice; possible suggestions are black tourmaline, selenite, tiger’s eye, malachite, black onyx, jet, loadstone, black moonstone, etc. We’ll have a variety of herbs on hand such as bilberry, bay leaf, sage, rosemary, lavender and others, however you are more than welcome to bring any other herbs or items that you would wish to include.

This monthly series will consist of discussion, activities, meditations and practices to help boost your personal shields as well as how to create safe spaces in your home or workspaces.
