Richmond County Free Weekly Legal Clinic on Housing Matters


Georgia Legal Services Program is a nonprofit law firm which provides free, civil, legal aid and advice to low income, rural Georgians. The Eviction Prevention Project (EPP), funded by the Georgia Bar Foundation, handles all types of private landlord-tenant cases in 8 counties throughout Georgia. The EPP can help tenants with the following types of cases:

•Dispossessory Warrants/Evictions

•Lease Terminations

•Security Deposits

•Housing Discrimination

•Repairs

•Lease Purchase/Rent-to-Own Agreements

•Lease questions

•Wrongful conduct by a landlord (e.g. self-help evictions, utility disconnections)

•Other disputes with a landlord

This is a weekly clinic held for Richmond County residents to provide free legal consultations on any of the housing matters listed above. To reserve your spot, please RSVP through this page.
