Forget Santa's "nice" list—we're welcoming his much naughtier counterpart: Krampus!
That's right Krampus will be here with a few of his friends to pose for pictures with all of you :)
Hailing from Alpine folklore, this legendary creature is often described as a terrifying, horned, half-goat, half-man figure. While jolly St. Nicholas rewards good children, Krampus handles the mischievous ones. Armed with birch branches and chains, he traditionally serves as a scary but humorous reminder for kids to be on their best behavior before Christmas!
Come on over to Merkaba Sol , show us your spooky side, and grab a picture with this fearsome, festive beast!
Bring your camera and take some funny shots of the kids with the wild man from the northern Alpine mountains, or you and the kids or even just you with no kids...All are welcome. Be aware that Krampus may be a bit scary for some so enter at at your own risk. Krampus promises to be more jolly then scary, but then again it's
Krampus so there are no guaranties.
This is a free event first come first serve and we are also collecting donations for a local animal rehab facility. Misfit Rehab specializes in small critters including bats and they can use a little extra help this year. Jen will be here to answer any questions about being a rehab specialist as well as the proper way to handle a critter that you may find in your travels. A "wish list" will be in the comment section.
