- **Event Description**: Come to the State House to let legislators know you want them to fund the Land for Maine's Future (LMF) program this year. LMF is the state's most successful and popular land conservation program, but it is out of money and legislators need to act this session to provide funding. 

We need LMF to protect working lands and waterfronts, support our outdoor recreational economy, and protect the beauty and open space that define Maine's way of life. 

Schedule:   

8:30 AM –9:15 AM: Check in at the State House Welcome Center for an overview to kick off the day  

9:15 AM – 12:00 PM: Pack the halls of the State House to show support for LMF 

At 11:00AM, we'll gather to take a group photo under the rotunda in the State House 

The first 100 people to show up will get a free LMF t-shirt! Otherwise, wear green to show your support and bring a homemade “Fund LMF” sign if you can! We'll have some signs available for use if you're not able to bring one. Let's show our lawmakers that Maine people support LMF.
