Diversity in Marketing and Advertising Luncheon
When image is everything where does diversity and disability fit in?
"Terrible", "mediocre" and "not great" are words no creative director wants to hear in response to their big idea, and these are also words no CEO, HR manager or any other ad industry executive or employee should be comfortable with when people with disabilities describe an agency working environment.
Josh Loebner is the Director of Strategy for Knoxville-based advertising agency, Designsensory and the author of the popular blog, advertisinganddisability.com.
His presentation "Advertising and Disability" will educate on the size, scope and buying power of minorities and in more detail, that of people with disabilities, the largest minority group in America.
He brings his own and other powerful stories and examples of the portrayal and inclusion of people with disabilities in advertising.
Attendees will learn how to increase connections with diversity and inclusion in their work and how inclusion is beneficial to growth, ideas and community engagement.
