Starting November 13th!

Do you play an acoustic instrument – that is, an instrument that doesn’t require electric amplification – and want to meet with other players in the community? In this Acoustic Musician Mixer program, we plan to discuss all things music: open mics and jams, rehearsing and rehearsal spaces, recording, songwriting, gigging, instrument maintenance, simple troubleshooting and repair resources, etc.

Attendees are encouraged to bring an instrument (or three!) if you like, but it is not a requirement.

Some things to consider about this program:

-We are in a library, so please consider the volume of your instrument.
-Please keep percussion instruments to a reasonable size/volume (bass drums and crash cymbals should stay home).
-We expect mainly stringed instruments, but this is not exclusive. -Harmonicas, accordions, thumb pianos – all are welcome!
-Consider portability: please only bring instruments you can move yourself and don’t require more than a few minutes of setup/breakdown time.
