THE INVINCIBLE SPIRIT (ARNSBERG) >>> Dark Electro | Wave | EBM
The Invincible Spirit ist ein elektronisches Musikprojekt des deutschen Musikers Thomas Lüdke. Es wurde 1986 ins Leben gerufen. Thomas Lüdke konnte bereits 1984 mit seinen ersten Kompositionen: Devil Dance, Love is a kind of mystery, Thoughts, Shadows und mit seinem Projekt Invisible Limits, das er gegründet hatte, großen Erfolg zeigen. Bereits 1986 wurde das neue Projekt, zunächst unter dem Namen The Invincible Spirit, mit seiner ersten Single-Veröffentlichung Push! weltweit bekannt. 1987 entschied sich Thomas Lüdke, das Projekt The Invincible Limit in The Invincible Spirit umzubenennen. Auch das 1987 veröffentlichte Album Current News, entwickelt mit Songs wie Push! Provoke you und Make a device, wurde schnell zu einem zeitlosen Evergreen. Auf Current News folgten weitere Alben und Single-Veröffentlichungen sowie die Arbeit an anderen Bandprojekten wie The Mao Tse Tung Experience, God is LSD und dem Goa-Trance-Projekt V-Ger & Soma. 2015 wurde das lange erwartete neue Album Anyway veröffentlicht. Anyway wurde auf dem selbst gegründeten Label Invincible Spirit Media veröffentlicht.

BAGGER 258 steht für kompromisslosen EBM – treibende Beats, rohe Energie und eine düstere, mitreißende Atmosphäre. Über die Jahre hinweg hat sich die Band durch intensive Live-Auftritte und eine unverwechselbare Klangästhetik einen festen Platz in der Szene erarbeitet. Ihre Musik lebt von druckvollen Basslines, eindringlichen Texten und dem kompromisslosen Anspruch, Electronic Body Music neu zu definieren. BAGGER 258 ist keine Retro-Revival – sie sind der Presslufthammer der Neuzeit.
