Levels at a Glance:
🔸 Improver Level
You’ve already taken your first steps into the world of Son – maybe through last year’s beginner level or a few introductory workshops. You’re familiar with the basics and have some experience dancing in contratiempo, but you’re still building confidence.
This level is ideal for reinforcing your foundation, improving your timing and body movement, and gaining assurance on the dance floor. We'll guide you step-by-step to deepen your technique, enhance your musicality, and expand your repertoire in a supportive and structured way.
🔹 Intermediate Level
You’re comfortable dancing in contratiempo and have a solid base in Son, with many classes or workshops under your belt. You're ready to go beyond the basics.
In this level, we’ll refine your technique, sharpen your understanding of Son’s rhythm and cadence, and introduce more complex figures, concepts, and stylistic elements. It’s the perfect step if you’re ready to challenge yourself and evolve your dance with precision and expression.
🔶 Advanced Level / Master Formation
Designed for experienced dancers with a strong foundation in Son and confident contratiempo skills, this level invites you to go deeper into the essence of the dance.
Here, the focus is on fine-tuning your expression, enriching your movement with musical and cultural depth, and elevating your technique through detailed, personalized feedback.
You’ll also receive theoretical insights, teaching methodology, and a certificate of participation – making it ideal for those who wish to teach or simply master their Son skills on a new level.
