PINK FLOYD unplugged? Nicht ganz. Es gibt schon noch ein paar elektronische Hilfsmittel bei PULSE, wenn man genau hinschaut. Aber die Idee hinter den Konzerten unter dem Slogan "Acoustic Side Of The Moon" ist, die fantastische und oft bombastisch arrangierte Musik von PINK FLOYD auf ein Minimum zu reduzieren und dabei ihren genialen Kern freizulegen. Das ist der Band um den charismatischen Sänger und Gitarristen Oliver Hartmann bereits 2014 mit der Band Echoes gelungen.

Seit ihrer viel diskutierten Trennung von Echoes unmittelbar nach der ausverkauften Acoustic Tour 2024 führen das gleich fünf ehemalige Band-Mitglieder unter dem Namen PULSE erfolgreich fort - unterstützt von ihrem fabelhaften Streichquartett aus Prag!

Klassiker wie „Shine On You Crazy Diamond“, „Another Brick In The Wall“ oder auch „Wish You Were Here“, aber auch komplexe und im Original stark elektronisch geprägte Songs wie „Welcome To The Machine“ oder „Money“ werden nicht ausgelassen, sondern mit neuen und kreativen Arrangements faszinierend in Szene gesetzt.

Zu hören ist dies auf der erfolgreichen Live-Produktion „Barefoot To The Moon“ der ehemaligen Band Echoes, die seit Erscheinen 2015 nicht nur auf Amazon in den höchsten Tönen gelobt wird, sondern es sogar in den Media Control Charts bemerkenswert weit nach vorn schaffte - für eine Tributeband eine Art Ritterschlag.

Nach der ersten und teils ausverkauften Tour unter neuem Namen im Januar 2025 setzt PULSE die akustische Konzertreihe auch 2026 mit zehn Terminen fort und zeigt, was man bei den Live-Konzerten von Oliver Hartmann & Co. erwarten kann: Volle Häuser und frenetischer Applaus bei einer Reise zur „Acoustic Side Of The Moon“.
