Gelli Printing Class

Gelli plate printing is a fun, easy monoprinting technique using a reusable, soft gel plate to create unique, textured art by layering water-based acrylic paints, textures (like leaves, stencils) and paper (or fabric). The process involves rolling paint onto the plate, adding impressions, and then pressing paper or fabric onto it to lift the design, allowing for one-of-a-kind prints without needing a printing press, perfect for art journals, cards, or fabric.

At this workshop we will explore how to use Gelli plates, try a few techniques, and we will create bookmarks to take home, along with any prints you make! Suitable for 16+.

Registration is required. Registration opens February 7th.
