Lisa’s Fund is named after Lisa Cosentino (nee Grottini), born on October 4, 1961. Lisa passed away in 2007 at the youthful age of 46 after a twenty-year fight with cancer. Lisa was a graduate of Highland Regional High School and though athletic, never really took to organized high school sports. She did, however, watch how important the sport of cross country was to her brother as he went through high school, college, and into coaching.

In November of 2007, Lisa’s health deteriorated. She began to lose strength in her body and legs. However, Lisa remained the strong one in the family – right up to her passing on December 15, 2007. The way she lived her life will forever be an inspiration to her family and friends. It was at her request that this scholarship fund be established to continue to help students in need have access to high quality coaching, clinics, and summer training.

Over the years, Lisa’s fund has sent many students to camp. Lisa’s Fund is named in her honor and aims to be able to provide annual scholarships to attend RunningWorks Cross Country Camp.  All monies raised at this event will assist us in continuing to provide annual scholarships in Lisa's honor.

The $75.00 cost per person includes happy hour and hors d'oeuvres from 6-7, a dinner buffet, dessert, live music & a DJ! Cash bar after 7PM. 

Dress code is black tie optional, but be sure to rock your favorite sneakers!
