While overall success will underpin the reputation and credibility of New Zealand's major export industries for years to come; your organisation’s efforts will ultimately determine how well placed it is to thrive in a low emissions future.
Whether your organisation is already on the journey or just starting out; this applied workshop will help you build internal know-how and capability to:
Progress and benefit from measuring emissions
Set appropriate reduction targets
Disclose climate related risks in a meaningful way
Work with suppliers to reduce emissions.
Whilst Climate Leaders Coalition members are already committed to these actions, this workshop is open to any organisation wanting to join others leading the way to a thriving low emissions future.
Who should attend?
This workshop provides the opportunity to reflect on your organisation's current situation and work on making further progress, in the company of like-minded peers.
We strongly encourage those with actual responsibility and accountability for measuring and managing emissions to attend. You'll get more value if at least two people from your organisation can work together, representing decision-making and operational levels.
The workshop is divided into two sessions, one about how to deliver business value from emissions measurement, target setting and effective disclosure; and the second covering how to engage with your supply chain to generate opportunities while reducing emissions.
Both sessions will include a short and practical presentation from expert practitioners in the field, living case studies, peer-group discussion, and a working session for you to develop concrete take-away actions.
