Pop in to the Francie studio at 407 A Richmond Road for a hands-on experience in reviving your favorite knits, led by knitwear designer Anna Woodruff.Mending can be creative, meditative, is a way to save money, and also helps minimize the amount of garments going to landfill. No prior experience needed for this workshop - if you can thread a needle you can repair a knit.What you will need:An item or two in need of TLC. We will be specializing in repairing knits, but these techniques will work for repairing a hole in almost any garment.Optional;Feel free to bring along your own scissors, sewing needles, yarns, crochet hooks and darning mushrooms if you like.However there will also be tools and materials there that are free to use.See you there!
