😍We're excited to be announcing that Molly Devine and Anneliese are coming together to create this unique offering!🔥Molly Devine will be curating a soundscape to have you moving and groovin', while Anneliese will be guiding you with her wealth of wisdom deep into the layers of your physical form🔥
Somatic Dance is a guided free form movement journey, delving deep into the layers of the body and held in a non-judgemental space where all of you is welcome. No prior dance experience is necessary and all bodies are welcome 🤗
There are no routines or steps to follow here, simply an invitation to discover how your body wishes to move. The guided facilitation is supported by a carefully curated soundscape overseen by a DJ 🎶
This dance is an invitation for you to come and move your body to the unique rhythm of you, supporting a deeper connection with yourself and others 💃🕺
This is a space free from alcohol, shoes and talking. Let the epic music and guidance of your facilitator carry you out of your mind and into your body, allowing yourself to experience the transformative power of Somatic Dance! The music takes the form of a wave, beginning gently before building to a peak, then settling back down to land softly and slowly.
We recommend wearing clothes you are comfortable moving in (layers are great), bring along a drink bottle and a drop or two of curiosity!
Our dance spaces are designed for adults to create a space where you are able to freely explore and express your authentic self, in whichever shape and form it happens to be expressing itself. As part of this, we request that alternate arrangements are made to care for any children while you attend. If you have a child you would like to bring along, please reach out to us and we can have a chat about whether it is a possibility 🥰

We have adopted a two tier ticket option:
$20 supported dancers, we want to continue to make our dances accessible
$25 supporting dancers, for those who feel more abundant and are able to support us
If price is a barrier to attending, please reach out to us and we can work something out, an additional hand with tasks on the day is often appreciated.

🎤 Anneliese, Somatic Dance Facilitator🎤
Anneliese is a scientist of the soul, a movement guide, mystic, and somatic educator with over 20 years of experience in yoga, Pilates, and the healing arts. My Joy Body is her medium to touch and help as many people as possible, offering journeys which awaken the intelligence of the body. She has a varied and diverse background, from studying ancient Eastern sciences and wisdoms to her current regenerative design work. She is a speaker, coach, teacher, and a lover of all beings.
Anneliese invites you to remember the deep power and pleasure of being alive in your body. Come as you are. Leave as more of yourself.
🎧🔊Molly Devine; Soundscape Creatrix🎧🔊
Molly Devine is a lifelong music devotee whose journey has taken her from massive festival stages to intimate dance floors of transformation. Having opened for legends such as Billy Idol and The Doobie Brothers, performed with symphony orchestras, and completed a Master of Music, she brings decades of experience connecting with people through music and brings deep musical intuition into every space she holds. A releasing artist in her own right, Molly crafts music as both expression and offering.
Her transition into ecstatic dance DJing was a natural evolution — combining her love of crowd energy with a deep passion for embodied experience. She played a key role in establishing ecstatic dance in Ōtepoti and has facilitated transformative dance floors for hundreds at festivals including Circulation and Revive. A passionate tangata Tiriti currently immersed in te reo Māori study, she approaches her work grounded in relationship to whenua and community. Her sets are dynamic, cinematic and embodied — weaving euphoria, depth and release into a shared ritual of movement.
