Restorative Yoga Teacher Training, 8-11 August & 12-15 Sept
Theory, practice and Teaching of Restorative Yoga. We begin by deepening our own experience of restorative yoga, by learning to gently let go, to deeply soften and allow the earth and gravity to open us to our natural energy flow.
Restorative yoga is now a key component in many Yoga classes. Learn how to teach restorative yoga and integrate restorative poses into your classes.
The training involves many Restorative Yoga postures, how to set them up, variations of these postures, and how to sequence them for Yoga classes.
This module also includes a day with Neal Ghoshal solely on iRest Yoga Nidra. Having directly learned from inspirational teachers like Richard Miller and Donna Farhi, Neal is passionate about this approach to Yoga Nidra as a deeply restful and healing practice which re-connects us to our essential, true nature, which is always whole and at ease.
Benefits of Restorative Yoga include:
dismantling of chronic tension patterns
enhanced immune function
effective cellular respiration
reduced hyper-tension in the cardiovascular system
reduced mental and emotional tension
a body-mind returned to a natural state of ease and equilibrium
