Kayaking – Explore O Te Ha Stream through a guided kayaking session with Auckland Sea Kayaks (ASK) as we learn about waterway protection, observe local wildlife, and threats to our local environment.? Weather call -Sea conditions permitting - we will run with light rain. A final weather call will be made the afternoon prior to the event. Cancellation due to weather will be communicated via email and eventbrite.? Registrations -Minimum age for kayaking is 7 years old.Children aged 7-13 need to have a confident adult in the back of their kayak. Children under 16 need an adult guardian present at the event.Please note that the maximum weight for the kayaks and paddle boards is 120kg per person.Expect to spend 1.5hrs kayaking, with the remaining time for briefings and evaluations.You are required to pre register for all on-water activities.Early registration will be open to locals who live within the area - please email jacob@mountainstosea.org.nz with your suburb to gain early access if you don't already have the locals code.
