Celebrate Matariki by learning to craft simple waka using coloured and patterned paper!

The Matariki star cluster was an important navigation tool for the great ocean going waka as they voyaged through the Pacific to Aotearoa New Zealand.

To mark te tau hou, make your own small version of this important Māori vessel.
