In this workshop, participants will learn simple foil embossing techniques to create their own decorative frame using recycled aluminium & foil trays.Through guided mark-making and embossing, you'll explore pattern, texture, and symbolism while creating a unique piece inspired by your own stories, memories, and cultural influences. Currently undertaking a Visual Arts Residency supported by Satellites and Te Tuhi and funded by Foundation North, her practice explores the subconscious, memory, healing, and diasporic identity through painting, embroidery, metal embossing, and upcycled materials.This is a project funded by Arts Out East, supported by Te Tuhi and the Howick Local Board.
