To survive in the VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambigious) world of business, organisations are constantly moving and growing to adapt and stay relevant. The skills needed by leaders to succeed have also changed, with more sophisticated and adaptive thinking required.
The learning and development industry, as well as academia, have spent a number of decades focused on what makes a great leader. However, the rapidly changing environment means this is no longer just a leadership challenge (what good leadership looks like); it is a development challenge (what causes people to grow). Most managers have become experts on the topic of leadership, but relative novices on the process of development.
This LAN breakfast will explore: - Is the future of leadership development tech fuelled or unplugged?- Why knack is so important and how we can develop it- Leadership development for everyone- Agile and continuous development - What are other organisational development people seeing?
The day itself:
The event will kick off at 7:15am where you'll be welcomed with a hot drink upon arrival. At 7:30am guests will be seated and a breakfast selection will be made available. While you're chowing down, key insights will be shared on the world of coaching and how leaders are applying coaching techniques to create high performing teams and engaged individuals.
The JumpShift D-I-Y action process will be used to dissect these learnings where you'll walk away with actionable outcomes that you can apply in your own coaching journey. Even better - you could walk away with the tools to combat and be aware of potential challenges before they surface.
