Upstairs at Dead Witch, Skitch Hiker, On Tick, and Warm Bodies lead a lineup that dives into the heavier, moodier corners of the genre. Skitch Hiker and On Tick will be tearing through their own originals. Raw, loud, and built for rooms like ours, with the odd grunge classic thrown in when the moment calls for it. Warm Bodies add their own spin on the era’s favourites, bringing a moodier, more textured take on the grunge covers everyone knows and loves. Together, they shape a night that nods to the giants without trying to imitate them, keeping the spirit of the 90s alive in their own way.

Downstairs in the main bar, our acoustic artists Lorenzo Hazelwood, No Strangers, Topaz and Sonic The Cat bring their own interpretations of the era’s defining songs, offering stripped‑back, intimate versions of grunge classics.

DJs Drew Bang & Trashkitty carry the night into chaos, spinning everything from the essentials to the deep cuts: B‑sides, soundtrack moments, and the tracks that shaped a generation.

These are the songs that lived on mixtapes, scratched CDs, and bedroom floors, stripped back to their bones and played with heart. Expect echoes of Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Hole, and Stone Temple Pilots, alongside tributes to the cult heroes of Mudhoney, Babes in Toyland, L7, Screaming Trees, Tad, Melvins, and the deep‑cut favourites only true obsessives talk about at 2am.

This year, profits from your $10+ entry go directly to Lifeline. Grunge has always been about honesty, vulnerability and saying the things we’re not supposed to say out loud. Lifeline carries that same ethos, offering free, confidential support to anyone struggling with anxiety, depression, loneliness, or crisis. Their phone and text services run every hour of every day, providing real human connection when it matters most. Supporting them feels true to the music, the community and the people who walk through our doors.

We’ve got Happy Hour drink specials 7pm–8pm and again 12am–1am, plus the full Ding Dong Lounge food menu available all night to keep you fuelled.
