- **Event Description**: We are looking for some keen volunteers to help us maintain on of the tracks used by our pest trappers. This will involve removing fallen logs, cutting back branches and pulling out weeds.
The work is quite physical, and the terrain can be challenging (especially if the ground is slippery from recent rain), so you will need to be fit and confident on your feet.

We will provide all volunteers with hand tools, gloves and eye protection, plus juice and biscuits for morning tea.

Meeting at the accessway to the reserve, between 26 and 32 Jomac Place, Avondale.

The work will be lot of fun, and the site overlooks the beautiful Mōtū Manawa-Pollen Island Marine Reserve, so if you feel like getting off the beaten track and doing something adventurous then why not come along!

You must bring sturdy, closed-in shoes or boots (work boots, gumboots and tramping shoes are all ideal); clothing suitable for outdoor work, including a raincoat if it's raining; and a drink bottle.
All volunteers need to be over the age of 15.
