Ferries crossing the harbour and the lights coming up on the water make good foreground while you wait for the sky to finish changing — bring a tripod if you've got one.No theme, no pressure. You'll be walking alongside a friendly, easygoing group of photographers, all looking at the local community and tghe CBD at dusk and seeing something slightly different in it.What You’ll See and PhotographThe CBD skyline changing as day turns to nightFerries and boats crossing the harbour as commuters head homeWharf pylons and the shoreline dissolving into layered shadows and soft contrastStill harbour water and quiet reflections, catching the last light and the first hints of nightHidden angles and pockets of light along the waterfront you didn't know existedPeople moving along the wharf as the day comes to an end, with small gestures and fleeting momentsThe gradual shift from golden hour to blue hour, where mood replaces detail and light becomes the subjectWhat to BringYour camera or smartphoneA tripod (handy for longer evening exposures, but not essential)Comfortable walking shoesCuriosity and an open mind — this is all about exploring and having fun! - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/auckland/devonport-after-dark/100001995174061326 - **Event Categories**: meetups, photography - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Age Limit: 16+ - Duration: 2 hours - Location: Devonport Ferry Terminal - Taxi/SPSV Stand (Marine Square) - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 0, max: 0, currency: NZD ## Event venue details - **city**: Auckland - **state**: AU - **country**: New Zealand - **location**: Devonport Ferry Terminal - Taxi/SPSV Stand (Marine Square) - **lat**: -36.8323083 - **long**: 174.796601 - **full address**: Devonport Ferry Terminal - Taxi/SPSV Stand (Marine Square), 2 Victoria Road, Auckland, New Zealand ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Devonport After Dark - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events4/banners/ec0a35ce54f9e282c2be69398c9d676d34fc03ce65337f3393324f83a7f0bbe3-rimg-w1200-h675-dc2e6260-gmir.jpg?v=1784963772 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Devonport After Dark being held? - **A:** Devonport After Dark takes place on Sun, 18 Oct, 2026 at 07:00 pm to Sun, 18 Oct, 2026 at 09:00 pm at Devonport Ferry Terminal - Taxi/SPSV Stand (Marine Square), 2 Victoria Road, Auckland, New Zealand. - **Q**: Who is organizing Devonport After Dark? - **A:** Devonport After Dark is organized by Photography 4 Fun. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
