Major disputes in occur in up to 30% of construction projects. Disputes are costly and have a significant impact on the success of projects and ongoing client/contractor /sub-contractor relationships.
This half day session looks at disputes in the New Zealand construction industry, what the impact of these are, and how they can be avoided and managed.
The session is aimed at early career construction professionals or as a refresher to more experienced attendees. Completion of the course contributes to attaining the Conflict Avoidance, Management and Dispute Resolution Competence as part of the RICS Quantity Surveying Assessment of Professional Competence.
