Author talk "Finding Frank"

In conversation with Louise Maich, author of the critically acclaimed 'Finding Frank: The Life of Frank Erceg – New Zealand Deer Hunter, Mountaineer, Photographer'.

Frank Erceg was one of Aotearoa's most prominent deer hunters during the 1950s and 60s. By age 30, Frank had established an impressive reputation as a marksman, mountaineer and photographer. That same year, Frank was killed in New Zealand's first helicopter hunting accident.

Author Louise Maich has spent two decades piecing together her uncle's story through family research, letters, recollections and yarns from his contemporaries. Illustrated with rare images from his photographic archive, Finding Frank is a heartfelt tribute to one of the country's true hunting legends. Signed books for sale at the event.

Event is held in the Seminar Room, level 1 Lopdell House, Lopdell Precinct.
