NZQA - Certificate in Pest Operations Level 3 (Urban Pest Management) Course

This programme meets the requirements of the EPA’s Hazardous Substance (Hazardous Property Controls) Notice 2017 to enable learners to legally become qualified UPM contractors and engage in domestic and commercial Pest Control.

The programme is delivered via Live Stream over 3 sessions. Technicians are also required to submit 4 unit standard assessments. In addition, the learning is supported by workplace mentors and assessors from around New Zealand at the commencement of the learning which means the program is effective whether the learner has workplace support of is self-employed.

This program is only delivered through CSL Ascend Training Ltd.

The programme includes developing and/or recognising the following competencies in your staff:

Maintaining health and safety in a range of conditions.
Demonstrating knowledge of the legislative framework and regulatory controls governing the urban pest management industry.
Communicating, reporting and recording information for workplace requirements.
Identifying the purpose and impacts of pest-control activities.
Identifying, controlling and monitoring pests commonly found in an urban environment.
