Students from the Auburn University Biomechanical Engineering (AUBE) Lab, led by associate professor Michael Zabala, will collaborate with Gravity & Other Myths acrobats to demonstrate advanced motion-capture technology—live on the Marentes Stage. This interactive workshop will explore how engineers measure, visualize and analyze the movements of elite acrobatic performers using optical and wearable motion-capture systems, with attendees seeing firsthand how performers are prepared with markers and sensors and how movement data is captured in real time.
 
This workshop is FREE and open to the public. Space is limited; registration is required.
