As a community of faith, we are called to exemplify God's love and support for individuals living with mental health conditions.

In this spirit, church members Gayla Hibbert and De Calvert will be leading a class focused on mental health. The discussion will encompass key topics such as mental illnesses, recovery, caregiving, and self-care, approached from three critical perspectives: theological, psychological, and sociological. Sessions will include videos, short talks by the presenters, and group discussion.

Attendance at all sessions is encouraged, but not required — if you need to miss a couple of classes, that's okay.

If you've taken the class before, we encourage you to take it again! With so much information to cover, much of it will feel new again.

We invite you to join us in this important conversation aimed at fostering understanding, compassion, and support within our community.

Please join us for this 8 part FREE series! Meetings will be Sundays starting August 9 thru September 27, from 11:30a-1pm.  Meetings will be held in the Barooshian Chapel on the First Congregational Church campus.
