At times these influences contradict each other - discovering stories behind each dish and connecting with others makes eating so much more enjoyable.This is not a lecture or a food tour; it is a dinner where we’ll eat together and talk about why we eat what we eat. I’ll guide the evening, but veryone is invited to taste, react, ask questions, and share their own stories.This time we'll go to the only place in Sydney that serves the authentic Peranakan food - Peranakan Place in Auburn. Most exciting part - we'll talk to the chef and the owner of the restaurant about his journey and the histories of his dishes.
