The Great Lakes Bay Veterans Coalition will be presenting our nations colors at the Bay City Western Veterans Appreciation Football Game on September 18th, 2026.

The flag will be carried out onto the field prior to the National Anthem. The announcer will read a brief description about the Coalition and the flag as the team unfurls it. Once complete, the band will play the National Anthem. Afterwards, the team will furl the flag back up and walk off the field.

The flag takes a minimum of 45 people to handle. All participants must be 16 or older.

We will arrive 60 minutes prior to the game to practice carrying, unfurling, and furling the flag.
