The band’s name comes from the founder, Nathaniel Brown, combining his last name with his instrument of choice, the drums more affectionately known as the “skins”. He has combined a cohesive group of talented musicians. The band has won two SAMMY Awards for best R&B CD in Central New York. Brownskin Band is up and running and are pursuing recording the bands’s third original recording and using it as a means to continue to spread their infectious positive energy throughout the world.ABOUT THE SHOW: The Owasco Room at Auburn Public Theater is downtown Auburn's newest music venue located in Auburn Public Theater's lower level. Please access this event under the Owasco Room marquee at 108 Genesee Street. Our Exchange Street doors will be locked for this event. Cash bar service is available. This event is standing room only. Doors open at 6:30PM. There will be two 45-minute sets with a brief intermission.
