A WEEK ON BROADWAY: Advanced-Level Master Class (Modern/Contemporary)

This advanced-level modern/contemporary master class is presented by the Gogue Center as part of “A Week on Broadway.”

Led by Cornelius Carter, Broadway Dance Center

This advanced-level master class, rooted in the Ailey style, will begin with a Horton- and ballet-based warmup designed to enhance technique, strength and alignment. With across-the-floor progressions and phrases, dancers are encouraged to find confidence, freedom, unique expression and musicality as they implement the ideas addressed in the initial portion of class.

This master class is free and open to dancers ages 13 and up with advanced experience and is recommended for those with 10 or more years of training.
