The Frederick Douglass High School Class of 1996 will be honored with a proclamation recognizing our 30-year milestone and our unique place in the school's history. We are proud to be the last 8th-grade class to walk the halls of Douglass High and the class that graduated during the excitement of the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.

Thirty years later, our classmates continue to make an impact. We have built successful careers, raised families, started businesses, served our communities, and continue to thrive. This proclamation celebrates not only our accomplishments but also the legacy of our class.

Great people and great things come from the Westside of Atlanta—and the Class of 1996 is living proof.

We would be honored to have you join us as we celebrate this special recognitio and another unforgettable chapter in our class history.
