There are guided tours in both the locations and you can spend a day with your family exploring the rich heritage of the city. The zoo is also the only zoo in the US which has giant pandas which will be a delight for kids. Similarly, for a sea adventure, the Aquarium houses a variety of sea animals such as octopuses, sharks and dolphins.
A weekend getaway to either Athens or Chattanooga or Georgia Guidestones or Providence Canyon State Park is one of the top things to do on a trip to Atlanta. Chattanooga is home to the famous rock city, and from the rocky ledge, one can see across 7 states. The Providence Canyon State Park also known as ‘Georgia’s Little Canyon’ is a great place to hike along and enjoy a Wild West adventure.
