The oaks are kings of our urban forest. These lanterns highlight the Atlanta Beltline Arboretum and are adorable acorn puppets with oak leaf hands! Let's all march together with the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons' giant Oak King puppet behind the Seed & Feed Marching Abominable! All materials included. This is a chance to meet fellow tree advocates,and build community with people who care about the “City in the Forest.”Enjoy light refreshments and beverages, with food trucks just off campus adding to the festive atmosphere. Bring your completed acorn lantern from the workshop—or stop by our last-minute lantern station to create one before the parade.At 7:45 PM, we’ll gather and head out together with Trees Atlanta to the parade start, walking as a group into one of Atlanta’s most joyful nights of light, art, and community.Whether you’re fully certified, just beginning your Acorn journey, or simply coming to cheer on the forest, you’re invited to be part of the glow.
