In this hands-on workshop, Jeremiah Long (Executive Director of Wedge Inc.) will walk you through the process of transforming a napkin sketch into a full storyboard.You’ll learn how to break scenes into camera angles, plan shots like a filmmaker, and use new generative AI tools to speed up the creative workflow — no drawing skills required.We’ll also touch on ethics of using Generative AI in the filmmaking process, explore tools anyone can use at low or no cost, and close with an open Q&amp;A and networking session.Food and drinks provided.Bring a laptop, phone, or tablet if you’d like to create along live.***How to find the Public Art Futures Lab: The Public Art Futures Lab is located in Underground Atlanta on the lower level, you can not see our space from the street! Our address is (88 Lower Alabama Street SW, Atlanta, GA, 30303)For ADA assistance to access our space, please email []ahead of time or call Underground Security - 770-829-7282 when you arrive and they will direct you to the elevator.A simple way to find us is by using the MARTA Five Points Station as your starting point (30 Alabama St SW, Atlanta, GA 30303). Exit the station and cross Peachtree Street toward the Underground Atlanta Tower. Look for the Underground Atlanta signage and follow it to a stairway leading down to a courtyard. Once in the courtyard with fountains, look for the row of glass doors, use the far-right entrance glass door. You’ll see the Public Art Futures Lab directly ahead, and restrooms are located to the right of the space.MARTA, Rideshare, or Paid Parking: Street parking along Pryor Street and Peachtree Street SW is often free on Sundays. There are also several paid parking decks and parking lots nearby on Wall Street.We suggest carpooling, using a rideshare or using MARTA Five Points Station to reach us. There is currently construction at the MARTA Five Points Station which may have closed the Peachtree entrance and exit - you will need to navigate around the station to find Peachtree Street. Please check MARTA for up to date info the day of the event [https://itsmarta.com/fivepoints.aspx]About the Public Art Futures Lab: The Futures Lab is a space to exhibit, experiment, educate and experience the role of technology as it relates to public art. By reducing barriers to creating and participating in this emerging space, the Lab seeks to expand access to cultural enrichment, provide the tools for local artists to thrive and maintain Fulton County's status as a creative cultural capital. The Futures Lab is made possible through the support of our host Underground Atlanta, our residency partners Atlanta Downtown and MARTA Artbound, our knowledge partners, Georgia Tech Arts, Georgia State's CMII, Spelman Innovation Lab, and our outreach partner, Orange Barrel Media.***Funding provided in part by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners under the guidance of the Department of Community Development.
