Oakland Summer Camps

Explore art history nature and science in one of Atlanta’s most special parks!

Atlanta’s historic Oakland Cemetery is offering week-long camps for summer vacation as well as a fall break camp from October 13 - 17. Our camps provide a unique opportunity to explore art history and nature through daily creativity-fueling crafts exciting skill-building games hands-on problem-solving activities and engaging experiments that will ignite campers’ imagination and love of learning.

Activities are centered around a different theme each week so students can attend one or more camps and have a different experience each week. See below for a list of this year’s themes.

Oakland Camps are for children ages 6-11. Your camper must be in this range by the start of camp.

April 7 to 11: Outdoor Adventures

June 2 to 6: Simple Machines Scientists

June 9 to 13: Action Adventures

June 16 to 20: Nature Detectives

June 23 to 27: Outdoor Art Studio

June 30 to July 3: Oakland Rocks Geology

July 7 to 11: Eco-Explorers

July 14 to 18: Garden to Table

July 21 to 25: Atlanta from Above
