On December 18, 2025 at the Variety Playhouse, Kevin Scott and an incomparable assemblage of A-Team players will join forces to present the Kevin Scott’s 10th Annual Funky Holiday Spectacular dance party. Featuring tunes ranging from James Brown and Otis Redding to Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin to Frank Zappa and Black Sabbath, and a few seasonal standards with just the right amount of holiday flavor, the band will usher in the holiday season with an uncompromising serving of funk and spunk. Kevin Scott’s 10th Annual Funky Holiday Spectacular includes band leader, Kevin Scott (Govt Mule, John McLaughlin, Col. Buce Hampton, Jimmy Herring), Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke), Benji Shanks (Blackberry Smoke), Mark Lettieri (Snarky Puppy, The Fearless Flyers), Duane Trucks (Widespread Panic), Jelly Joseph (Galactic), Kevn Kinney, T. Hardy Morris, The Greyhounds, King Baby, Emil Werstler (Dååth), Rick Lollar (Jimmy Herring, King Baby), Lamont Landers, Jontavious Willis, Mark Raudabaugh (Sierra Hull, Donna the Buffalo), Matt Slocum (Warren Haynes Band, Aquarium Rescue Unit, Railroad Earth), Ryan Scott, Rhett Huffman (American Aquarium), Jordan Shalhoup, Danny Wytanis (Ghost Note), Mark Rivers (Tedeschi Trucks Band), Art Edmaiston (Gregg Allman, Bobby “Blue” Bland, Little Feat), Marc Franklin (Aretha Franklin, BB King, Justin Timberlake), Rafael Pereira, Amanda Joy, Tiffany White, and Spencer Pope, along with a few more VERY SPECIAL GUESTS to be announced in the coming weeks.
