The film is grounded in observation and conversation, and is designed to be experienced collectively and followed by dialogue.We are glad to support the fight for heat standards that help protect all workers from heat stress regardless of their immigration status. On farms, in kitchens, at construction sites, and in any environment where extreme heat is present, workers are fainting and suffering from inadequate water, rest, and shade. This is the time to stand up for our shared humanity and safety—people’s lives are at stake.This film was created by a small independent nonprofit documentary team, @sixeyefilms, based in Florida. Their work focuses on climate, labor, migration, and is grounded in long-term relationships and on-the-ground reporting. Their team comes out of investigative journalism and nonfiction media, with experience working alongside outlets such as FRONTLINE, ProPublica, and The New York Times.
