There will be a limited number of free tickets. You may choose: a free ticket without a book, a single ticket with a book, or a ticket for 2 people that includes one book. There will be a signing line after the event.If you choose the book with ticket option, you will bring your ticket (digitally or on paper) with you to pick up your copy of the book at the event. All books not picked up at the event on 6/20 will be available for pickup at Charis Books and More (184 S. Candler St, Decatur) for 2 weeks.Doors open at 6:30 pm. Event begins promptly at 7:00 pm.Venue & Accessibility Details:- Masks: Face masks are strongly encouraged but not required.- Parking- Free parking is available at the parking lot that can be accessed via Mell Ave. The lot is one way, so please enter from Mell, and exit onto McLendon. There is additional free street parking directly in front of the church.- There are four accessible spaces - two are located on the street in front of the church. The other two can be accessed by following the parking lot as if you were exiting onto McLendon, and they will be on your left facing the playground.- RAMPS: There are two ramps that lead into the main building areas. One ramp is in the front of the building and can be accessed from the front sidewalk/Mell Ave side of the building. The other ramp is in the back of the building and can be accessed from the parking lot. There are marked accesible parking spots located in the front of the building, the back parking lot and next to the playground. All ramps lead to the main floor of the building. There is a back door that leads to the lower main floor.-BATHROOMS: There are two main bathrooms that on the lower main floor that can be accessed by short stairs/elevator once inside the building. If entering through the back door, you will already be on the same level as the bathrooms (lower main floor). There is a family bathroom on the bottom floor that can be accessed via elevator. All bathrooms will have gender neutral signage for this event.-SEATING: Seating consists of individual chairs - they can be rearranged to accomodate wheelchairs and other mobility devices. Please let a Charis staff member know and we will support in rearranging seating to accomodate a mobility device. -There are water fountains on each floor that are filtered and have an automated water bottle filler-There are headphones available to support in noise sensitivity. There are fidgets in the main lobby for anyone that needs them.
