For the first time since Fitzy, Evan, and I stumbled into Cineprov about eight years ago, we’re actually doing open auditions again! Since then, we’ve performed everywhere from the Plaza, to my basement (Patreon glory days), to Round Trip Brewery, and now the Tara. Life’s gotten busier, grayer, and somehow louder—so it’s time to bring in some new blood… preferably the funny kind.

How It’ll Work:
When you show up, you’ll sign in, and we’ll draw names out of a hat to determine the order. Groups will riff for about 10–15 minutes depending on how many people show up. Current members will be watching, judging, and quietly hoping you don’t outshine us too much.

No pre-set teams, no guaranteed movie moments.

We’re keeping it random, so it’s fair! You’ll know the movie ahead of time so you can prep your jokes and/or emotional monologue.

The Movie: Silent Night, Deadly Night (the original) — because nothing says “festive comedy” like axe murders and Santa trauma.

What We’re Looking For:
Don’t worry about how many jokes you land—we’re watching for chemistry, timing, and how well you play with others. Think of this as group improv, not comedy Thunderdome. We want people who can throw a joke and set up the alley-oop for others.
