Dharma Jewel Monastery invites you to discover yourself through Zen meditation.
Everyone is welcome for free one hour beginner's guided meditation sessions on weekends in December 2018 - Saturday and Sunday Dec 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, & 16, at 10am. Come for one or all of the sits! Guided meditation is led by a Zen Buddhist nun in English.This is a great introduction to our Beginner's Zen Meditation course, which starts Thursday January 24, 2019 at 6:30pm! The course is weekly for three months and is a sequential, cumulative class.
Children's class will be on many Sundays 2:30pm - 4:00pm and includes story-telling, arts and crafts, and fun games. Appropriate for ages around 5 - 12. Next classes: December 2, 2018 and January 27, 2019

Finally, most Sundays (when there is no ceremony), there is a Diamond Sutra recitation service at 2pm, all are welcome to attend, starting January 27, 2019.
