Don't know about you, but this time of year, millions of people are confronted with the notion of traveling all over the country to go visit family for various sundry holidays. Whether it's on public transportation or being right up in there with your kin, there's nothing like it to invoke the feeling--sometimes pleasant, often far less so--of being extremely loud and incredibly close.
Tell us about a time you reached sensory overload. Did everything go haywire? Did you find yourself yelling or being the one who was yelled at? Perhaps you were just the victim of a close talker. Were you stuck on the tarmac for an inhuman amount of time, making friends and enemies with everyone trapped around you?
Mayhap something went kapow nearby. Did Crazy Cousin Darrell shoot off some fireworks unexpectedly? Did something go bump in the night?
Whatever your story of discomfort and / or big booms, we’ll be waiting at Manuel’s Tavern on Tuesday, November 11 at 7p, where you can sit elbow-to-elbow with us on the second Tuesdays of the month.
Come down early to join your fellow Carapeeps for bites & brews, courtesy of the best wait staff in town. There’s never any pressure to tell a story. We adore story connoisseurs of all varieties.
