In recognition of Father’s Day, Black Male Initiative will be hosting our Inaugural Father’s Day Fest at Rodney Cook Park (Vine City Park) on June 14th, 2025 (8:00 am - 8:00 pm). As an organization that represents a collective of community leaders, elected officials, family members, and diverse ideologies of what it means to be a Black Man in today’s world, Black Male Initiative encourages and emphasizes showing appreciation for the fathers of our community. As a result, our Father’s Day Fest will create a space where our fathers can enjoy a day of celebration, promote healthy habits through walks and workouts, and create a safe community event for fathers, children, and community members.
