- **Event Description**: ​Let's work together to make our town shine!  The annual Green Clean Athol Spring Clean Up Day is Saturday April 18, 2026 from 9am to 12pm.  

Come meet us behind the Athol Public Library starting at 9am to pick up trash bags, gloves, and a location to start collecting trash around town.  Commemorative t-shirts will be provided to volunteers while supplies last! 

When you've filled your bags, give us a call/shoot us a text (number to be provided), come back to drop them off by the DPW trucks, or drive them to the town transfer station - all trash and recycling collected from the event will be accepted for free (and weighed) at the Athol Transfer and Recycling Station.  

We will have water, hot cocoa, and light refreshments available so bring your refillable water bottles & travel mugs!

All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by adults.

Over 120 volunteers came out last year to help us clean up Athol - looking forward to seeing even more of you in 2026!
