(18yrs+) Howe Bridge Leisure Centre. Take a step towards better health and well-being. Guided by the friendly Be Well Community Link Workers, the walk is designed to promote physical activity, mental well-being, and social connection.

We have a wide range of organised walks at venues all across Wigan Borough – including Nordic Walking, Nature Walks, Bump n’ Buggy, Waggy Tails, Bat Walks and more!
You’ll always find a friendly group of people who, just like you, are looking to stay active in a fun, social way, exploring and enjoying the local area with the guidance of our experienced walk leaders.
On some walks we’ll even be joined by Be Well health advisors and community link workers about any issues you may be facing that are affecting your health and wellbeing.
All our walks are free to join. Just bring yourself and enjoy the great outdoors! Check our timetable to find a walk near you. When booking, make sure to select ‘Community Venues’.

Thwy are a guided walks, part of inspiring healthy life styles. Everyone's welcome - come along, get active - and get some fresh air!
