The East Athens Educational Dance Center proudly presents its annual production, Winning: The Champion Within, at 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2026, and 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the Historic Morton Theatre.
This beloved annual performance is a cherished family tradition and a favorite within the Athens community. Winning the Champion Within celebrates perseverance, excellence, and the inner strength of every dancer, while continuing to honor the legacy of Lois Thomas Ewings.
Winning the Champion Within is a dynamic showcase highlighting the gifted students enrolled in the East Athens Educational Dance Center’s Accelerated Programs. Featuring ballet, modern, tap, African, and contemporary dance, this inspiring production will uplift audiences.

Public performances will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 7:00 PM and Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Morton Theatre, 195 W. Washington Street, Athens, GA 30601.
