ABOUT THE PROM
Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue… and themselves. On a mission to make a difference, the Broadway stars team up with a courageous student, leading to a transformation that brings everyone together in the name of love and acceptance.

ABOUT TABLE READS
Participation in a table read is a great way to “dip a toe in” to see what it’s like to work with Athens Community Theatre. The play is read casually: A participant can read a part or simply listen, and change their mind at any time. ACT members host these opportunities for fun, to preview plays and musicals for consideration, or for more niche titles. They are always free and open to the public.
