Table Read: The Diary of Anne Frank

ACT remembers the holocaust in a special table read of Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett’s "The Diary of Anne Frank" on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 6:00 PM, led by ACT director, Colby Pilkey.

All ACT table reads are free and open to the public.

ABOUT THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK
Tony Award for Best Play and Pulitzer Prize for Drama winner.

This staged adaptation of the posthumously published book “Diary of a Young Girl” details Anne Frank’s life in hiding in Nazi occupied Amsterdam during World War II. ACT is reading the play for Holocaust Remembrance Month.

ABOUT TABLE READS
Participation in a table read is a great way to “dip a toe in” to see what it’s like to work with Athens Community Theatre. The play is read casually: A participant can read a part or simply listen, and change their mind at any time. ACT members host these opportunities for fun, to preview plays and musicals for consideration, or for more niche titles. They are always free and open to the public.
