On Sunday May 31st at 9am, there will be a free tour of the Equinoxbotanicals Sanctuary located in Southeast Ohio. Appalachia's herb basket is home to some of the largest wild populations of goldenseal, blue and black cohosh, wild ginger, and ramps in the United States as well as vast stands of ginseng, bloodroot, and countless other native medicinal herbs. Virtually all of the herbs they use in their products are either grown organically, without the use of any pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and are ethically wild crafted right in southeastern Ohio. In their 45 years on the farm, they have come to understand that the land is our steward as much as we are stewards of the land. To that end, their goal is as much about sustainable farming and harvesting practices as it is about producing the highest quality products available and we will never stray from organic practices or over-gather our herbs. All of our herbal products are hand crafted in small batches on their farm.
Since the event will be held in Athens Ohio, people are welcome to come and partake at the either skate-park (Athens or SKATOPIA) all they want it will not interfere with our recording, it is about a 10 mins to the Athens park and a 30 minute drive from the location to Skatopia, though it is highly recommend that you stay for the duration of each speaker to get the best value out of the event.
We will be having drinks and a small bonfire at the top of the hill at Skatopia Saturday night which all are welcome to attend.
(No Alcohol during the conference)
