- **Event Description**: All 2026 AACA Summer Arts Camps take place at The Arts Center, 320 North White Street, Athens, TN. For grade ranges, students must have completed the grade in the 2025-26 school year. 
 
The summer starts with the most popular camp in the Athens area: Kids Arts Camp 2026. Students in grades K - 6 can choose between two camp weeks. 

Week 1 is June 1 - 5 and Week 2 is June 8 - 12. 

AACA’s 29th annual Kids Arts Camp provides daily classes in art, music, drama, and dance. The beloved summer camp led by Kay Frank and Lisa Sharp is a great introduction to the arts in a week full of fun for newbies and practiced performers alike. 

The camp day is 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. 

Each camp ends on Friday with a performance of “Wish Upon a Stage” at 1:00 PM at The Arts Center. 

Camp tuition is $125 and includes materials and a t-shirt. 

Registration deadline for Kids Arts Camp is Monday May 18, 2026 for Week 1 and Monday May 25, 2026 for Week 2. 

Full and partial need-based scholarships are available through the Marian Biddle Trew Scholarship Fund. The deadlines for scholarship applications for Kids Arts Camp are May 11, 2026 (week 1) and May 18 (week 2). 

The Arts Center staff is available for questions and registration via phone or in person during office hours, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and encourages early registration as camps fill up quickly and spots are limited. 

An additional application is required for financial assistance. The scholarship application is available upon request from The Arts Center. Visit in-person, call 423-745-8781, or email artsed@athensartscouncil.org for scholarship applications.
